Mustang Marathon

Our Mustang marathon begins on Tuesday, October 24 at 8:00 a.m. Students participate by completing laps around the playground. Parent volunteers help students track their laps that add up to miles. We reward students with chain necklaces, tokens, and other prizes as they complete miles. At the end of the marathon session, we recognize those students who complete the 26.2 mile or 105 lap marathon.

Halloween Parade

Our Halloween parade is on Tuesday, October 31 at 2:00 p.m. We are looking forward to a spooky day!

Relay for Life Bake Sale

Our Alice Byrne’s Relay for Life team, Variety Pack, will be hosting a bake sale between October 2 and October 25. We will send order forms home during the week of October 2. Orders are due by October 12 and order pick-up will be on October 25 between 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. in the cafeteria. If you do not pick up your order, we will send it home with your student. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society, on behalf of Alice Byrne School’s Relay for Life team! Thank you for your support!

Mustang Luncheon

Every month, beginning in September, our teachers select exemplary students from their classroom to be "Marvelous Magnificent Mustangs" for the month. We invite you to come eat with your child at this time. The luncheon takes place on the last Thursday of the month. The cost of the meal is $3.50 for adults and $1.50 for children. The PTO pays for the lunches of the Mustangs of the month. We will send home invitations on the Monday before the luncheon.

iPAD Warning Notice

We are very excited about having new iPad technology in our classrooms, and we hope you are too! We are going to be working with the iPads every day in class, and we have some guidelines for students who do not bring their iPads to school each day. We do not want them to get behind, and if they do not have a fully charged iPad every day, they will lose out on valuable lessons. Please view our iPad warning notice for information about our expectations.
