Our teachers select exemplary students from their classrooms each month to be "Marvelous Magnificent Mustangs!" If a teacher selects your child, we would like to invite you to come eat with your child during our monthly luncheon. We will have our luncheon on the last Thursday of each month. The cost of the meal is $3.50 for adults and $1.50 for students. The PTO will pay for the lunch of each child chosen that month. We will send invitations home the Monday before the luncheon.
We are asking parents and guardians to help us provide children in kindergarten, first, third, fourth, and fifth grades with a subscription to Scholastic News and Science Spin. The cost for a yearly subscription is $8.00. If you would like to help, please see our recent newsletter for more information. We would like to thank the parents and guardians who have already sent in money! We appreciate you!
We serve breakfast for free to all students from 8:00–8:30 a.m. The front gate opens at 8:00 a.m. and at this time, all students must go to the cafeteria whether they eat breakfast or not. We require this, as there is no teacher on duty until 8:20 a.m. The first bell rings at 8:40 a.m. and dismissal is at 3:40 p.m. On Mondays, dismissal is at 2:10. Please make sure you pick your child up on time. Thank you!
Our Right at School program is a place for students to complete their homework and have fun activities to participate in after school. There are discounts available for tuition. Parents, if you would like more information on this program, you can go online or call Silvia at (928) 294.9596.
Our goal in managing the cul-de-sac is to increase the safety for our families, children, and anyone using this area. Please adhere to our guidelines and remain patient and courteous. There will always be someone who does not know the rules or is not abiding by them. In these cases, we ask that you exercise the utmost tolerance, patience, and common sense. Do not let anger get the best of you. Your support and knowledge of the procedures will help keep our students safe. Please see our vehicle safety guidelines for complete details on our procedures. We thank you for your understanding.
We are very excited about having new iPad technology in our classrooms, and we hope you are too! We are going to be working with the iPads every day in class, and we have some guidelines for students who do not bring their iPads to school each day. We do not want them to get behind, and if they do not have a fully charged iPad every day, they will lose out on valuable lessons. Please view our iPad warning notice for information about our expectations.
