Military Families

Alice Byrne Elementary School salutes our military families and provides a welcoming, supportive learning environment for military students. Families are invited to contact us to schedule a tour or learn more about the great programs available at Alice Byrne Elementary School.

Student Ambassadors

April is military family month

We understand that some students may feel nervous or anxious about starting a new school. At Alice Byrne Elementary School, our student ambassadors are here to welcome your child and help them with any questions about their school. As military children themselves, they know first-hand what it’s like to move to a new town or school.

Led by Mrs. Grace Latourette and Mrs. Rae Packard, all student ambassadors are qualified to provide a school tour, assist with locating classrooms, explain school culture and routines, and much more.

For more information, please contact the school office at (928) 502-8200.

Military Family Life Counselors

Military Family Life Counselors, funded by the Department of Defense, may serve schools with many active-duty dependent students. With parent permission, they provide free, confidential individual and group counseling to children and families to address the impacts of military life. They do not keep records of counseling. They also may provide education and coaching to teachers and staff.

We Purple Up!

Every year, Alice Byrne Elementary School is proud to “Purple Up” in support of military children.
